These terms govern your use of the vencergroup.com website and the publicly available content on it. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Service agreements with Vencer Group clients are separately negotiated and signed; nothing on this page replaces those agreements.

Use of the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

You may not:
- Reproduce substantial portions of the content for commercial redistribution

- Use the content to train or fine-tune machine learning models without written permission
Editorial content and operator opinion
Content on this site, including eBooks, guides, blog posts, case studies, and the Operator's Brief newsletter, represents operator pattern recognition and informed opinion from the Vencer Group team. It is not:
- Legal advice (we are not your lawyers)
- Regulatory or compliance advice
- Certified security assessment
- Investment advice
- A substitute for professional engagement specific to your operation
Every organization has different variables. Use Vencer editorial content as a thinking framework, not a prescription for your specific situation. For prescription, the IT-and-the-Cycle Assessment and the engagement models are available through our normal sales process.
Case studies and operator examples
Case studies on this site are composite operational accounts based on Vencer Group's work with clients. Specific names, dates, dollar amounts, and identifying details are anonymized to protect client confidentiality unless a client has explicitly consented to attribution. Composite examples represent patterns we have seen repeatedly, not single specific engagements.

The site may link to third-party websites, products, or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. A link from this site is not an endorsement.
Disclaimer of warranties
The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." Vencer Group makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. Diagnostic tools, calculators, and assessments on this site produce indicative results based on the inputs you provide; they do not substitute for engagement-specific analysis of your operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vencer Group, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content. This includes any business decisions you make based on Vencer editorial content. The total aggregate liability of Vencer Group for any claim arising from the website, regardless of the form of action, is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).
Forms and submissions
When you submit a form on this site (contact, eBook gate, diagnostic email capture, newsletter subscribe), your submission is governed by the Privacy Policy in addition to these Terms. By submitting a form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to provide it.
Service engagements
Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to provide managed IT, cybersecurity, fractional CIO, or any other professional service. Service engagements with Vencer Group are governed exclusively by separately negotiated and signed service agreements that include scope of work, pricing, service levels, and limitations specific to that engagement.
Newsletter and email communications
If you subscribe to the Operator's Brief newsletter, you consent to receive periodic email communications from Vencer Group. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by emailing privacy@vencergroup.com. Newsletter content is subject to the same disclaimers as the rest of this site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the website shall be brought in the courts of Alberta, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a banner on the homepage. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
