Most companies stay with the wrong MSP because changing feels like a project. It isn't. Here's exactly what your first 30 days with Vencer looks like - no service gaps, no contract limbo, no painful re-onboarding.
First - Is It Really Time?
A few of the most common signals we hear. None of them on their own are dealbreakers - but if you're nodding to three or more, you're not imagining the problem.
IT without accountability - the pattern most operators recognize.
IT with accountability - written into how every engagement runs.
Your First 30 Days
Switching MSPs isn't a project - it's a sequence. Here's how we run it.
Day 1 - 7
We map your environment first - before anything changes. Stack inventory, identity audit, security posture review, vendor list, current contracts. We document what we find and walk you through it. No agents deploy yet, no help desk swap, no surprise changes. Just a clear picture of what you actually have. Day-one no service gap - guaranteed.
Week 2 - 3
We accept the hand-off from your outgoing MSP. Existing tickets get triaged. RMM, EDR, MFA, and backup agents deploy across the environment - alongside (not in place of) what is already there. Your help desk number changes to ours. Day-one no service gap. Quick wins from the audit get fixed first.
Month 1
Your first scheduled Business Review. The 12-month roadmap. The named owners on your account. The security posture summary. Most environments should be fully under Vencer management by day 30 - actual timeline depends on vendor cooperation, client systems access, and the scope of cleanup the previous MSP left behind. We commit to the plan and the dates in writing.
What about my existing contract? Most MSP contracts auto-renew annually with a 60–90 day notice window. We'll help you read your contract honestly, plan around your renewal date, and coordinate the overlap so there's never a service gap. We've done this enough times to make it boring.
"But What About..."
Then you already know the cost of switching badly. That's exactly why our onboarding is structured, written, and walked through in advance. We'd rather lose you in of the assessment than ten months in.
Hand-off windows are deliberately overlapping. Your help desk number changes once - everything else is invisible to end users. Most of our switches are described internally as "uneventful." That's the goal.
That's fine. We'll start the assessment now, structure the switch around your renewal date, and use the runway to plan it properly. The longest switches actually have the smoothest hand-offs.
Then we'll tell you. Our IT Assessment is structured to give you an honest view of where you are - even if the answer is "your MSP is doing more than you realize, stay with them." It happens.
Standard offboarding includes documentation transfer. We pull it into IT Glue, augment with our own discovery, and you end up with better documentation than your previous MSP had - usually within 60 days.
Read the rest of the site honestly. 19 years. 30+ M&A transactions. Zero breaches in 11 years. Two NOC/SOC entities. Bangkok, Jakarta, Singapore. If those numbers don't matter to you, we're probably not your MSP. If they do, you'll see the difference within 30 days.
No sales pitch. No 47-page deck. A 30-minute call to understand where you are, what you'd want different, and whether Vencer is even the right fit. If we're not, we'll say so.
